Aston Villa Ticket Office Closed Due to Transition to New System

One of the bugbears of match-going Aston Villa fans in recent years has been the trials and tribulations that the online ticketing system has occasionally served up. From being down overnight when you were desperately trying to secure FA Cup semi-final tickets to failing to recognise you met the criteria for key away tickets, many fans have a story to tell about being frustrated by the site.

However, finally an overhaul is on its way. It’s not a matter of a few tweaks, but a complete change of ticket partner, with Ticketmaster making way for Top Tix.

As a result of this transition, the Aston Villa Ticket Office is no closed online, on the phone and in person until the week commencing Monday July 10th.

So, supporters will not be able to buy tickets for matches, stadium tours or season tickets until then.

Earlier MOMS highlighted a recent interview the new Commercial Chief, Luke Organ did where he touched on the issue of Ticketing.

Here’s an excerpt from his thoughts on Top Tix, the club’s new ticketing partner.

“We were very impressed with their dedication to customer service and personalisation – but also their ability to help us move forward technologically with things such as mobile ticketing to loading match tickets with benefits gifted by the club.

“There will be a full system overhaul by the start of the season with new access technology coming shortly after.”
