Aston Villa Match One of the Extra Three Games Chosen For TV

Derby Screened

After Sky decided not to cover the Second City derby last season at Villa Park, the fixture will again return to the Sky Sports TV schedule on Sunday, February 11 at 12pm.

Last season Villa won a tame affair which was decided by the home team’s only shot on target by Gabby Agbonlahor. Villa fans and Sky will hope for a much more convincing [performance this time round

The other games chosen by Sky were:

Millwall vs Cardiff City on Friday 9th February (7.45pm)

Sheffield United vs Leeds United on Saturday 10th February (12.30pm)

Notice Petition

While Villa’s fixture time against the Blues was switched to Sunday 12pm on the instructions of the police a while ago, there are still issues with the notice period that Sky gives in changing fixtures.

There is currently a petition to get the football powers that be and Sky Sports to increase the notice period, you can sign it here:

Give football fans adequate notice of fixture changes for TV Petition
