Aston Villa vs Fulham is Brought Forward
Aston Villa’s Premier League home fixture against Fulham has been moved back to Saturday 31 October, kicking off at 8pm live on Sky Sports.
The match was originally switched to 2pm on Sunday 1 November, back in August for Sky Sports coverage. The second change has been made to accommodate Villa’s UEFA Champions League fixture the following Tuesday, when the club travel to Barcelona to face FC Barcelona.
The rescheduled date falls on Halloween and Villa will be hoping the game is less trick and more treat.
Puns aside, since there was a very good chance of Villa playing in the Champions League on Tuesday night, why was the game moved in August in the first place? It puts match-going supporters in a situation where they have to change their plans twice instead of once.
