New Aston Villa Fan Advisory Board Website and Refocus for 2025

Aston Villa Fan Advisory Board 2025

The Aston Villa Fan Advisory Board (FAB) has launched a new website as part of its 2025 refocus to strengthen the connection between supporters and the club’s leadership. The website aims to provide transparency, updates on current initiatives, and opportunities for fans to directly influence decisions affecting their matchday experience.

What Is the Aston Villa FAB?

The FAB acts as a vital bridge between Aston Villa supporters and the club’s leadership, ensuring that fans’ voices are represented in key decisions. It evolved from the Fan Consultation Group, originally established during Steve Hollis’s tenure as caretaker chairman. In the 2023/24 season, the Premier League mandated the creation of Fan Advisory Boards for all clubs in response to the fan-led government review. Today, the Aston Villa FAB consists of 12 members who represent the club’s diverse fanbase.

Initially, the Fan Consultation Group was a fairly casual set-up that tended to be reactionary to club events. After the first year under its Fan Advisory Board (FAB) moniker, it was clear that it was pointless continuing in such a manner, so the aim now is to be more proactive with the closer involvement of the Villa fanbase.

Key Features of the New FAB Website

The newly launched website aims to enhance transparency and supporter involvement. Key features include:

  • Current Activity Updates: Stay informed about ongoing initiatives, such as efforts to improve the ticketing experience and ensure Villa Park’s accessibility to all fans.
  • Meeting Notes: Access detailed notes from FAB meetings to understand the discussions and decisions impacting supporters.
  • Surveys and Feedback: Participate in surveys, like the current Ticketing Experience Survey, to share your experiences and help shape the FAB’s agenda.
  • Contact Information: Find out how to reach the club or FAB with your concerns or suggestions, ensuring your voice contributes to the club’s future.
  • #AVFCFAB – use the dedicated hashtag, so your opinion and input can be taken on board by the FAB

Improving the Ticketing Experience

One of the FAB’s key focuses for 2025 is to work with the club to improve the ticketing experience for supporters, whether purchasing tickets online or via phone. Feedback from fans has highlighted challenges in both systems, and the FAB is committed to addressing these issues to make the process smoother and less frustrating.

To support this initiative, the FAB is encouraging all supporters to participate in their Ticketing Experience Survey. By filling out the survey, fans can share their honest feedback and help the FAB identify areas for improvement. Whether it’s technical glitches online, long waiting times on the phone, or accessibility concerns, your input is invaluable.

Get Involved

The success of the FAB depends on active supporter engagement. Fans are encouraged to explore the new website, participate in surveys, and use the hashtag #AVFCFAB on social media to share their views. By working together, the FAB and Aston Villa supporters can contribute to shaping a positive future and address the challenges ahead.
