As expected Aston Villa’s Premier League trip to the Amex to play Brighton & Hove Albion will now take place on Sunday, May 5 (ko 2pm).
The match is pushed back a day due to Villa’s UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final against Olympiacos the preceding Thursday. Having beaten Brighton 6-1 earlier in the season, another three points would go along way to potentially cementing a spot in the Champions’ League next season.
This will be the final fixture change of the 2023/24 season.
Due to the fixture switch, Aston Villa Women’s against Brighton will be brought forward to Saturday, May (kick-off 1pm) at Broadfield Stadium to avoid a clash with the Premier League fixture.
