Last Four
The dates for Aston Villa’s League Cup semi-final dates have been announced against Leicester City, in a tie that sees them play their first League Cup semi-final since 2012-13 (the less said about those games, the better).
Villa, perhaps seen as the outsider of the four remaining teams, will be glad of having the 2nd leg back at Villa Park. The two cup ties have three league games sandwiched in-between them, with Villa playing Manchester City (h), Brighton (a) and Watford (h).
The second leg on January 28th provides Villa with four weeks to potentially draft reinforcements in too.

…if we are still struggling in the league- who’ll really care about this tie? Might as well do a Liverpool and put out a youth team…
