New Aston Villa Away Shirt Debut Date
This week saw the release of the Aston Villa away shirt, which will worn for the first time by players against Brentford in the Premier League Summer Series match on Sunday, July 30. Like the home shirt the retail price is £70, an increase of £5 upon last season. That’s just over a 7% rise on last season, following a 14% rise, the season before (see below for price comparisons with other Premier Leagues clubs this season).

The good news is – well, at least until the end of July – is you can get 15% off the retain price by using the code SCORE15, at Kickbag, which is run by Fanatics, who also run the club’s online store. Aston Villa Away Shirt Pattern
For those wondering what the print is on the white away shirt, it is apparently made up of lions from former Villa badges.
The club states:
‘A unique design that showcases the lions that have represented Aston Villa throughout its existence, the new away shirt is a visual timeline print that tells the story of the club’s proud journey since our foundation in 1874.
The redesigned crest, which pays homage to our European Cup-winning heroes of 1982, appears on Villa’s playing and training kits this season.’
