Aston Villa December Changes Announced
Christmas Frustration
The Premier League has finally confirmed the December broadcast picks and fixture changes caused by European commitments, but once again, supporters are being left hanging when it comes to planning the actual Christmas period.
Despite the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) repeatedly stressing to the Premier League how vital this time of year is for fans – both financially and logistically – the Premier League has yet to announce the festive fixtures. It’s another reminder that supporter considerations remain well down the pecking order.
Villa’s Four Announced Changes
As for what’s been confirmed so far, four of Aston Villa’s Premier League games in December have been rescheduled.
Unai Emery’s side will open the month with a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday, December 3, now kicking off at 7.30pm live on Sky Sports.
Villa then host Arsenal at Villa Park on Saturday, December 6, with the game moved to a 12.30pm start on TNT Sports.

Next up is a visit to West Ham United on Sunday, December 14, kicking off at 2pm and shown live on Sky Sports.
The final confirmed fixture sees Villa host Manchester United on Sunday, December 21, kicking off at 4.30pm, also live on Sky Sports.
With December plans already tight for most supporters, the continued delay in confirming the Christmas and New Year schedule feels like more than just an inconvenience, boarding on a lack of respect for match-going fans.
