Triple Aston Villa Fixture Change Confirmed due to European Matches

Three Saturday to Sunday Switches Confirmed

As expected, Aston Villa’s Premier League fixtures against Chelsea, Wolves and Luton Town have all been moved to Sunday dates, due to the club’s participation in the group stages of the UEFA Europa Conference League the preceding Thursday.

Unai Emery’s side will now travel to Stamford Bridge on Sunday, September 24 (ko 2pm), coming after Villa’s opening Europa Conference League group tie at Legia Warszawa.

Villa’s trip to Molineux is now set for Sunday, October 8 (ko 2pm), following their Conference League encounter against HŠK Zrinjski at Villa Park.

Then, their home clash against Luton at Villa Park, will take place on Sunday, October 29 (ko 2pm), after they travel to Holland to face AZ Alkmaar.

While it may frustrate the supporters of our forthcoming opponents, the changes to Villa’s Premier League matches in November and December due to European participation will be confirmed later alongside the corresponding month’s broadcast selections.

League Cup Date

Meanwhile, Aston Villa’s League Cup date with Everton has been confirmed at Villa Park for Wednesday, September 27 (ko 7.45pm).
