Six Festive Changes for Villa
The Premier League have finally announced the first round of TV fixture changes for the Christmas period, with Aston Villa seeing six televised games across Sky, BT Sport and Amazon Prime.
With supporters wanting to make their plans for the Christmas period, there had been some frustrations over the delayed announcement by the Premier League for the TV fixture schedule changes.
Changes to the remaining two rounds of matches in January should follow by next week at the latest, MOMS has been informed.
First up is Villa’s home match against Manchester City, which finally gets a set time with the match now taking place on Wednesday, December 1 (8.15pm), live on Amazon Prime Video. Will the £100m the visitors gave Villa for Jack Grealish come back to haunt them?
Villa’s home clash at Villa Park against Leicester City hasn’t been moved back to Sunday, December 5 (ko 4.30pm), to be shown live on Sky Sports.
While the trip to Anfield to face Liverpool remains unchanged, the Norwich City trip on Tuesday, December 14 (ko 7.45pm), will now live on BT Sport.
An unchanged Villa Park clash with Burnley, is followed by the Boxing Day match-up with Chelsea, which is now a 5.30pm kick-off, live on Sky Sports.
Villa’s trip to Elland Road to take on Leeds United will now be live on Amazon Prime and kick off at 5.30pm on Tuesday, December 28.
Villa begin the new year with a trip to a new stadium with their clash at the Brentford Community Stadium to face the Bees, being shown on Sky Sports on Sunday, January 2 (ko 2pm).
