Following on from this week’s Premier League statement that all matches will continue to be made available for broadcasting while supporters can’t go to stadiums due to the pandemic, Aston Villa’s March fixtures were confirmed.
The main change was the introduction to the month of Villa’s first match of the season against Tottenham Hotspur in the first week of March, after the initial match date was postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak at Villa.
The Spurs game will take place at Villa Park on Sunday, 21 March and kick off at 19.30 and be shown on Sky Sports.
Earlier in the month, before the international break that takes before the Spurs game, Villa have a trip to Bramall Lane to play Sheffield United and a home derby game against Wolves.
The fixture against the Blades will take place on Wednesday, 3 March and kick-off at 6pm. The game will be screened on BT Sport.
Three days later on Saturday, 6 March at 5:30pm, the Dogheads visit Villa Park for a match that will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Meanwhile, if you haven’t heard yet, Villa’s game against Leicester City this weekend was put back by five minutes and will kick off at 14.05 on the Sunday.
