Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa is Moved Forward (Slightly)
After Aston Villa’s FA Cup fourth-round game against Spurs in February was today scheduled for broadcast on the BBC, Villa’s closing February game, the away trip to Crystal Palace was selected by TNT Sports.
The fixture will now start at the slightly earlier time of 7.30pm on Tuesday, February 25, having originally been slated for a 8pm kickoff.
In February, only Villa’s home clash against Ipswich Town – on February 15th at 3pm – isn’t broadcast live in the UK.
Villa will be hoping to avoid adding two extra Champions League play-off games to their five fixtures in the month, by qualifying in the top eight of the Champions League table. Villa would then effectively have a month off the tournament before it fires up again in March, when the last 16 round gets under way.
