Aston Villa Preseason Fixture List 2014/15
It’s almost a week away from when the Villa players not involved in the World Cup and management will begin preparations by returning to training at Bodymoor Heath on Monday, July 7 before beginning their pre-season schedule begins with a trip to Mansfield Town’s Field Mill on Thursday, July 17 [ko 7.45pm]. After a trip to Texas and fixtures prearranged as terms of previous transfers, the team will end their preseason at Villa Park against the team that finished sixth in Serie A last season, Parma.
Parma currently boast three of the ill-fated Italian World Cup squad – defender Gabriel Paletta, midfielder Marco Parolo and forward Antonio Cassano. While not the team that competed with and matched Italy’s elite clubs during the 1990’s, they are a team on the up in Italy.

Walsall August 5 (Bank’s Stadium) [7.30pm ko]
Parma August 9 at Villa Park [3pm ko]
The 2014-15 Barclays Premier League season then kicks off a week later on August 16 with an away trip to Stoke City. UTV
