Newcastle United vs Aston Villa on BT Sport
With Aston Villa’s away trip to Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United team still in the calendar on a Saturday at 3pm, even after the recent new March fixtures update, it still didn’t seem likely Villa would play out the game on football’s previous traditional footballing time.
Alas not, the game against the Toon Army has been switched to the Friday night before, with it kicking off at 8pm on the 12th March.
The match will screen live on BT Sport in the UK, meaning it’ll be the second BT Sport live match with Villa’s trip to Sheffield United also lined up to kick start March with on the third of the month.
