Aston Villa v Villarreal
As MOMS reported a couple of months ago, Aston Villa were planning on arranging a series of mid-season friendlies while the World Cup was on, and a second date has been firmed up with Villa to host Villarreal in a friendly match on Thursday, December 15 (ko 8pm).
The match at Villa Park will see something of an Unai Emery derby, as Villa entertain his former club, 11 days before the Premier League begins again on Boxing Day, when Villa host Liverpool.
During the World Cup break, Villa already have a warm weather training break planned in Dubai and a fixture at Cardiff City scheduled.
Currently just the lower and middle Trinity and lower Holte End tiers will be open for the Villarreal friendly clash and there is a discounted price available for adult season ticket holders, adult members and adults already on the waiting list.
There will be an initial opportunity for season ticket holders to buy tickets along with friends and family before tickets are put on general sale
