Premier League Fixture Change
Aston Villa’s Premier League fixture in October against West Ham United has been moved to be broadcast on Sky Sports.
The Villa Park clash against the Hammers will now be played on Sunday, October 22 (ko 4.30pm). With their involvement in the Europa Conference League, Sunday will fast become the new norm for Villa supporters certainly until the end of this year.
The West Ham game will be the first match back after the October international break.
European Fixture Change
Meanwhile, as reported earlier on MOMS, Aston Villa’s away trip to Edinburgh to face Hibernian in the first leg of the Europa Conference League, has been brought forward to 5.45pm on Wednesday, 23rd August.
The match was moved from the tournament’s traditional Thursday evening slot, due to Hearts also playing at home that night in the Europa Conference League. Due to UEFA’s rule of there being no clashes with Champions League games on Wednesday, the game will be played at the earlier time before the Champions League games kick-off.
