Aston Villa completed back-to-back home comeback wins to climb to third in the Premier League, while also winning their opening Champions League game away at Young Boys. Before this weekend they were sitting pretty in the top four of both the Premier League and Champions League. A win at Ipswich Town and Unai Emery’s boys would have been 100% in the month of September.
Still, there’s the feeling though that Villa are just finding their feet, and there’s a lot more to come this season.
In the latest main show of the My Old Man Said podcast, we look back at the three-game Villa week and catch up with the latest Villa news and other footballing going on’s. We also reflect on the sad passing of Gary Shaw, MOMS’ favourite Villa player.
