Aston Villa Beef Up On and Off the Field

The Villa Transfer Window After PSR

The business of PSR seems to have been tackled as Aston Villa’s accounts for the 2023/24 season closed. So now, instead of discussing numbers and creative accounting, in the latest episode of the My Old Man Said podcast we can talk about the actual player deals and the evolvement of Unai Emery’s Villa squad. What do these new signings mean for the squad, and what else needs to be done to bolster the team for a twin assault on the Premier League and Champions League?

In the show, we also look at Villa Park matchday ticket price increases for Villa’s Premier League matches in the upcoming season, which were released under the cover of England playing in the Euros. Of course, as well as catching up with the other latest Villa news, there’s the regular’s Three Points and Emery’s Clipboard.
