Fulham and Forest Away Trip Latest
After Fulham’s injury-time FA Cup 5th round 1-0 loss to Southampton, Aston Villa’s Premier League trip to Craven Cottage is now rubber stamped for a 12.30 kick-off on the 25th April. The match will also be broadcast live on TNT Sports.
Another Aston Villa away trip in April, remains yet to be confirmed though, with their trip to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest on 11th April subject to change due to both teams’ potential involvement in the Europa League quarter-finals. The two-legs of which will be either side of the Premier League fixture.
With both Villa and Forest in the Europa League last 16 with a shot at the quarter-finals, wouldn’t it have made more sense to just move it already to Sunday in the latest fixture change announcement covering April? It would at least enable fans and the clubs alike to forward plan to a definite date.
Is that too much common sense for the Premier League?
