Aston Villa Supporters’ Player of the Year Vote
The club have opened the voting for Aston Villa supporters to choose their 2025/26 Player of the Season.
Unai Emery’s side ended a 30-year wait for major silverware by lifting the UEFA Europa League trophy in Istanbul, while also securing a fourth-place Premier League finish and a return to the Champions League for the second time in three seasons.
Now it’s over to the supporters to decide who was Villa’s standout performer.
Voting is open until 12pm on Friday, June 5, and you can cast your vote via the link at the bottom of this article.

Will you reward a player with the most outstanding moments, or will you reward consistency (and the ability to stay injury free, thinking about this season). After all, the campaign was built on resilience as much as quality. After an inconsistent opening to the Premier League season, Villa found their rhythm in the autumn, winning 13 of 15 matches between late September and early January on their way to another top-four finish.
Along the way, Emery’s side matched a club record with 11 consecutive victories in all competitions between November 6 and December 27, while Villa Park continued to establish itself as a European fortress.
Villa finished second in the Europa League league phase after winning seven of their eight matches before overcoming LOSC Lille, Bologna and Nottingham Forest in the knockout rounds. The journey culminated in Istanbul, where they defeated SC Freiburg to bring a major European trophy back to Villa Park for the first time since 1982. So, don’t forget to factor in performances in the Europa League too.
